Mandatory Green House Gas (GHG) emissions reporting start in the UK

From next year it is mandatory for quoted companies in the UK to report their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as part of the directors’ report. Under UK law six greenhouse gases are defined: CO2 (carbon dioxide), CH4 (methane), N2O (nitrous oxide), HFCs (hydrofluorocarbons), PFCs (perfluorocarbons), and SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride).
