Hyderabad, India: Gati Kausar has opened its first temperature controlled warehouse in India near Delhi.
The site has 5000 pallet capacity and handles goods from -25 to +25 degrees C. It will handle dairy, pharmaceutical, frozen and chilled food.
Gati Kausar has 220 refrigerated vehicles and with the new coldstore plans to provide end-to-end, integrated cold chain solution for different industries.
K L Chugh, chairman, Gati said “The launch of our first refrigerated express distribution center opens up an entire new world of business opportunities for Gati. This facility is the first in a network of cold stores planned across the country. As this network takes shape in future, Gati Kausar will evolve into a formidable end-to-end Cold Chain Solutions company.”
