Upplands Väsby, Stockholm, Sweden: Envirotainer and Chep Aerospace Solutions have extended their partnership for a further three years.
Chep provides repair, handling, transportation and storage services for Envirotainer’s fleet of containers across 21 global service centres.
These service centres are approved to issue certificates of release to service both under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
It is a dual certification that has been made possible by the working partnership between Chep and Envirotainer, which will be further expanded in the future to support Envirotainer’s growing fleet, and enable the company to serve even more customers at key airports.
Envirotainer chief executive, Simon Angeldorff, said: “Envirotainer’s partnership with Chep helps us meet the needs of our customers in terms of reliability and availability, which are key factors to success in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Chep’s repair excellence, IT capabilities and global network play an important part in enabling us to strengthen our leading position in the market.”
