Düsseldorf Airport Cargo (formerly known as DUS Cargo Logistics) is the specialist at Düsseldorf Airport when it comes to air cargo handling, offering a full range of services from one source. Düsseldorf Airport Cargo was founded as a full subsidiary of Düsseldorf International Airport in 2001. Our 160 employees, our direct airport ramp access and modern equipment guarantee airlines and logistics companies highly professional, smooth and rapid handling of all imports and exports.
Düsseldorf Airport Cargo provides import and export cargo handling services to more than 30 airlines, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Düsseldorf Airport Cargo operates a 12.650m² warehouse with an annual capacity of approximately 130,000 tons. Furthermore Düsseldorf Airport Cargo is responsible for the entire business development in turns of cargo.
In our facility we accommodate more than 1,800 cubic meters of cold stores (COL) for perishable products. These storage areas are temperature controlled between +2° and +10° Celsius. To maintain high standards, we hold a license as Border Inspection Control Point. The veterinarian inspection’s offices are also based directly in our facility. When it comes to PER handling, we also can adapt tailor made solutions for special products. In order to widen our know-how and to help in establishing new standards and widen our experience, we decided, in 2008, to join the Cool Chain Association as an active member.
With ELWIS, our electronic warehouse management and information system, Düsseldorf Airport Cargo guarantees smooth communication with all companies including forwarding agencies, airlines, airports and authorities.

More than 30 airlines (e.g. Lufthansa, AirBerlin, Emirates, Etihad, Delta etc.) have already decided to be handled by us. Over the last years, we recorded a strong increasing cargo capacity and that is often applied to perishable shipments.
