Amazon.co.uk is expanding its AmazonFresh service to selected postcodes in Hampshire for the first time while also expanding its existing service in Surrey.
This company now delivers to towns in key commuter belt areas including Woking, Guildford and Basingstoke. It is supplying produce to 260 postcodes.
The expansion comes hot on the heels of a report in the Sunday Times that Amazon is ”searching for high street locations in central London”.
“With an extensive selection of quality products at great prices and delivery options suited to fit busy schedules, we are excited to offer AmazonFresh to more Prime members than ever before,” said Ajay Kavan, vice president of AmazonFresh. “We’ve received positive feedback since the service launched, and we will be working hard to make the service even better for our customers.”
AmazonFresh launched in June 2016 to service 69 postcodes. AmazonFresh is available via the Amazon.co.uk website or mobile app. Customers must first become Amazon Prime members to be able to access the service.
